The “Kruithuis” is now used as a scoutcentre. It consists of a walled, picturesque place with a pond. This pond is surrounded by a lawn with trees and ends in a canal on which side three accommodations are located in the main two adjacent buildings. Each accommodation is provided with a day-room, a fully equipped kitchen, dormitories and sanitary installations. The units are meant for 12, 24 or 36 people respectively and can be hired separately.
There is a small field for games, a nice square and a large campfire circle. Pioneering wood, material for raftbuilding and 6 canadian canoes are for hire. Around the pond are lots of possibilities to play games. Camping is possible, also in combination with lodging. The Kruithuis is a self-catering centre. |
